Description Dodie's Cajun seafood is a nice change of pace from the Mexican and home cooking restaurants that populate Lower Greenville. Dodie's Dock is connected to the Regal Beagle Bar in case you want an after dinner drink. This casual restaurant fits right in with the Lower Greenville Avenue motto of "laid-back fun." It is usually so crowded that you won't notice the unfinished walls and seasoned furnishings. Filled with Southern Methodist University students and lots of couples, the atmosphere is relaxing and great for conversations. Raw oysters, crab claws, fried shrimp, red beans and rice and Po' Boys are complimented by garlic fries, cole slaw and hushpuppies. For a larger meal, try the crawfish Etoufee or a basket overflowing with fried fish.
